Part of having a healthy overall lifestyle is having an active and healthy social life as well. The Madison Sports and Social Club seeks to organize events that will help members get to know each other better through a variety of diverse events and activities.

Fill The Bowl

Every year the UW hosts its "Fill the Bowl" event for the women's hockey team. The purpose of the event is twofold: To try to fill the Kohl Center with as many fans as possible, and to support the Second Harvest Food Bank. For every fan in attendance, Becker Law Office will donate $1 to Second Harvest. The women's hockey team is good - as of the writing of this post, they are currently sitting in first place in the WCHA with a 20-1-1 record and ranked #1 in the country. They have also won 4 of the last 6 national championships.

This year, the event is being held on Saturday, January 28th. Our plan will work like this: We will meet downtown at Buffalo Wild Wings (789 University Ave) at 6:00 pm. Feel free to grab a beverage and/or some food, and we will probably head to the game around 6:45 pm. Everyone is responsible for his or her own ticket - and they only cost $1.

The Badgers are also collecting non-perishable food items for Second Harvest, so feel free to bring some of those with you as well.
