History

Entering their 15th year of play in 2025, Sea Kittens are a coed recreational amateur slow-pitch softball team based in Madison, Wisconsin. Established in 2010, Sea Kittens welcome players of all abilities who will play with unbridled enthusiasm regardless of skill.

The Cats played in MSCR from 2010- Summer 2021, and switched over to MSSC in Fall, 2021. The team played the role of Gracious Bridesmaid, losing four MSSC championship games, until finally getting a picture with that damn banner in Spring 2024.

Since 2010, 110 different players have suited up for the Cats, and three original Sea Kittens still play. After four years of incredible roster stability, five new players will be suiting up as full-timers in Spring 2025.
